Kayla Benzakour Neris lives in São Paulo, Brazil, with her husband and three children.
She was born and raised in Fez, Morocco. Schooled and educated in the United States, she only came to be a writer after years of doing research about second language acquisition and teaching methods. She is an active literary critic and teaching staff member in Secondary Schools and Universities in São Paulo since 2004. This is her second contribution to teaching English as a Second Language in São Paulo and globally. Her first book, The English Sentence Builder and Grammar Cubes Puzzle Book, published in November 2023, is used in schools to teach grammar to High School students enrolled in the 12th grade in Brazil and the present book is a classroom textbook for Grade 10 in Brazil and worldwide.
