The Chaiselongue

This tropical South Sea novella tells the story of a disciple's relationship with a real Maha Siddha, the Guru of all Gurus, the Master of all Masters, Turaga Dau Loloma Vunirarama, in an epic-poetic form based on the historical yet fictional character of the servant Ratu Gus.
Ratu Gus lives his past present and future lives in conscious simultaneity. All the wheels of fate interlock and overlap-as they do for every human being-until the moment when fate presents the protagonist with a chaiselongue in the middle of a South Seas paradise that is not free from fraud. The tropical capital of Fiji, Suva, becomes the catalyst and supernova of his realisation process.
Far away from the trouble spots of this world and the virtual influencer streets of consumer prostitution, Ratu Gus's spiritual ecstasy and heartfelt impulse pull him beyond the apparent world and his body-mind, anchoring him in the fire of the here and now.
Embraced and guided by the blessing presence and eternal relationship with his Heart-Master Turaga Dau Loloma Vunirarama, the ancient spiritual path of a Master-Devotee relationship is revealed step by step. The enfolding process of Perfect Realisation in the relationship with his Heart-Master progresses relentlessly and mercilessly. No failure is too unworthy of Gus. No offence unfounded. No path too far for him to take a shortcut. The patterns and habits of an illusory egoic life fall away. In the perpetual tropical heat of frustrations and tragedies of a freebooting life, in tune with his Heart-Master Turaga Dau Loloma Vunirarama, there can only be one conclusion for Ratu Gus:
We have always already been free!

Seit Mitte der 1990er-Jahre besucht Momo Pete regelmäßig die Fidschi-Inseln, die im Laufe der Zeit zu seiner eigentlichen Heimat geworden sind. Von 2017 bis Ende 2022 lebte er ununterbrochen auf verschiedenen Südseeinseln und arbeitete als Unternehmer in Suva, der Hauptstadt Fidschis. Seit frühester Kindheit zieht ihn die Südsee auf geheimnisvolle Weise in ihren Bann, deren Menschen und Inseln tiefe Spuren in all seinen Büchern hinterlassen haben. Seine Bücher sind inspiriert und durchdrungen von den Weisheitslehren seines spirituellen Lehrers, des Herz-Meisters Avatar Adi Da Samraj, Turaga Dau Loloma Vunirarama, des Ruchira Buddha, dessen Ashram auf der Insel Naitauba auf Fidschi er zu Lebzeiten des Herz-Meisters oft besuchte und wo er mehrere Jahre lebte.
