Portrait

Wolfgang Kahl (born 1965) studied law and political science at the Universities of Augsburg, Munich and Speyer. He received his doctorate from the Law Faculty of the University of Augsburg in 1992 (dissertation: Umweltprinzip und Gemeinschaftsrecht, 1993). In 1999 he habilitated in Augsburg (habilitation: Die Staatsaufsicht, 2000) and in 2000 accepted a call to a chair in Public Law at the Law Faculty of the University of Giessen. In 2004 he accepted a call to the University of Bayreuth and in 2009 another call to the University of Heidelberg. There he has since been director of the Institute for German and European Administrative Law and the Research Center for Sustainability Law.
Paul Hüther (geb. 1996) studierte Rechtswissenschaft an der Universität Heidelberg. Seit 2020 ist er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Institut für deutsches und europäisches Verwaltungsrecht ebendort tätig und seit 2022 Rechtsreferendar am Landgericht Heidelberg.
