This book contains a common surgical instrument used in the healthcare settings.Surgical instrument is a tool or device for performing specific actions or carrying out desired effects during a surgery or operation, such as modifying biological tissue, or to provide access for viewing it. Over time, many different kinds of surgical instruments and tools have been invented. Some surgical instruments are designed for general use in surgery, while others are designed for a specific procedure. Surgical instruments are commonly used in a health organization for the aim of surgery. Even though they the fundamental devices in the health organizations, they are poorly identified by most of the healthcare providers. However, surgical instruments are a vital part of the healthcare system. Lastly, this book has included the common surgical instruments with their respective purpose. This book would encourage the healthcare professionals to improve their knowledge and skills.
