After a hectic career as a cardiac surgeon, I traded the city's pace for the tranquility of the suburbs, reducing my time in the OR to enjoy long walks with my dogs. A year ago, I fully embraced a dream deferred: writing historical fiction. I have always been convinced that the past offers more profound wisdom than any other source, yet it is tragically overlooked. Observing the fundamental shifts reshaping our world, I felt compelled to to learn more about humanity.
