Originally published in 1961, when the NSPCC played a very real and important part in the Welfare State. This is Your Child, sketches the history of the Society and gives a moving account of the work it does in relieving neglect and cruelty to children, and in helping parents driven to their wits' end by domestic problems.

Anne Allen was, at the time of original publication, a Justice of the Peace. Arthur Morton was, at the time of original publication, the Director of the NSPCC.
