Between a funeral and a wedding: twenty years of the existence of the hero of this story, a forty something lawyer who finally decides to marry. On his wedding day, the protagonist reminisces about his tumultuous past, slowly bringing his secrets and flaws to surface. It's the story of a man with strong ties to a joyous band of childhood friends, his first misguided attempts at love, warm, happy weekends in the country, but it is also about harmony disrupted when friends become couples and others remain single. Gradually the hero's love life begins to reflect his visceral fear of commitment. Bruno Le Sassier works in media (Lagardère Active). Une histoire d'homme is his first novel.
