For the past 16 years, Cadillac Man (so named because he was once hit by an El Dorado and thereafter bore an imprint of its hood ornament) has lived on the streets of New York City. Cadillac Man has lived on the streets of New York for the past 16 years, most recently under a viaduct in Astoria, Queens. His writings have been excerpted in Esquire.
