Aiming to identify the most effective tools and water governance innovations, and the circumstances that foster their successful implementation, this book examines some of the world's leading laboratories of non-urban water law and governance, evaluating the success of different governance forms, legal designs and institutional prescriptions.

Dr Cameron Holley is an Associate Professor at UNSW Law and is a manager of the Connected Waters Initiative Research Centre, UNSW Sydney, a leader of the UNSW Global Water Institute and a member of The National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training.
Dr Darren Sinclair is a research fellow at the Australian National University.
