Alicia, Bárbara, Leo, and Max are anxiously awaiting the beginning of the school year, because yet again they will have to deal with a brand-new teacher. Who will it be this time? What will he or she be like? Will this teacher last the whole year? Because the truth is, it's not easy to live for a whole year in Villanieve, a remote town in the mountains that, after the first snowfall, usually remains cut off from the rest of the world. And, indeed, the person who shows up this year does seem to be a very different sort of teacher. Will this year be as boring and predictable as all the others? Or might this actually be the moment that things change?
