Celia del Palacio nacio en la Ciudad de Mexico en 1960. Es doctora en historia por la UNAM y es coordinadora del Centro de Estudios de la Cultura y la Comunicacion de la Universidad Veracruzana en donde tambien realiza sus actividades como investigadora. Ha publicado obras historicas como Las disputas por las conciencias, Los inicios de la prensa en Guadalajara, Siete regiones de la prensa en Mexico, Hollywood era el cielo entre otros. Tiene tres libros de poemas. Tambien entre sus libros encontramos Leona y No me alcanzara la vida.
