In its second edition, Christian Armbrüster's textbook on private insurance law has been thematically enhanced and significantly expanded. The focus remains on insurance contract law, but other topics relevant to it, such as insurance regulation and conflict of laws, are also covered, while numerous case studies further illustrate the legal questions addressed. The impact of increasing digitalisation in the insurance sector is likewise paid due attention.
