»Principle of Certainty in German Private Law«: In German Private Law, one is confronted in very different places with the question of what requirements are to be placed on the certainty of legal transactions (substantive law) and acts before courts (procedural law). Against the backdrop that such questions are primarily considered in isolation from each other in different areas of law, this study examines whether a uniform principle of certainty can be identified in German Private Law.
