A candid autobiography from C.J. de Mooi, one of the formidable stars of BBC2's "Eggheads". Although his brilliance was obvious from a young age, his parents were unable to accept his sexuality and he ran away from home and became a prostitute on the streets of Amsterdam.

CJ de Mooi is a British professional quizzer and television personality. He first appeared on television quiz show Eggheads in 2003, as one of five original members of the show's eponymous team. In December 2011, de Mooi announced he had left Eggheads permanently to pursue an acting career.
