Diese kleine Anthologie versammelt eine Auswahl deutschsprachiger Gedichte aus der Feder des Autors. Die Texte sind eigenständig entstanden und spiegeln persönliche Gedanken, Stimmungen und sprachliche Bilder wider. In konzentrierter Form eröffnen die Gedichte stille wie eindringliche Momentaufnahmen, die zum Innehalten und Nachdenken einladen. Die Sammlung versteht sich als poetischer Raum, in dem Sprache, Gefühl und Reflexion in einen feinen Dialog treten.
Residing in Germany since 1984 and linguistically integrated into my new society, fluent English (conversation, or better still, American dialect) dwindled away as friends returned to the U.S.A. Since a few years, I've discovered new medication for my affliction, (see my Autobiography: "Gallant I stand with My Shaking Hands"), so now I'm able to type again. I found enjoyment in writing stories, ergo; I started my new hobby, with eclectic themes spanning the entire spectrum. Sometimes I will know the word in German, forgotten the English word, and need Bing Translator, but with each new story my vocabulary is getting back up to par. So, in the hope that you all enjoy what I write, I'll continue as long as possible. And if you like my writing, especially if you paid for one of my stories, I would appreciate it if you'd post a review at Smashwords, and/or the retailer. And don't forget to share my link on Facebook, Linked In, Google+, Redit, Pinterest, or any of the many other social media sites.
