His most recent co-edited book is The Statues and Legacies of Combat Athletes in the Americas (Lexington, 2024). Cesar R. Torres is Professor of Kinesiology and Sport Studies at the SUNY Brockport (U.S). He is a Fellow of the National Academy of Kinesiology and Vice-president of the International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education.
