Frappee Par La Foudre

Mes mains se mettent a trembler, tout mon corps vibre. Et mon coeur bat a grand coups. J'ai l'impresson d'avoir frole la mort! La vie de Claire a besoin d'un changement radical. Elle coule en math, sa mere deprimee ne veut pas se lever du sofa et le gars de ses reves est avec sa rivale Lucy. Au moment ou Claire fait le souhait d'une vie meilleure, la foudre frappe. Bientot sa vie se transforme et Claire obtient tout ce qu'elle a souhaite. Elle se demande bientot si le prix a payer pour cette chance n'est pas trop eleve.

Deb Loughead is the author of more than forty books for children and young adults including Wildfire, Payback and Rise of the Zombie Scarecrows in the Orca Currents line. Her books have been translated into seven languages, and her award-winning poetry and adult fiction have appeared in a variety of Canadian publications. Deb has conducted workshops and held readings at schools, festivals and conferences across the country. She lives in Toronto.
