Love Can Last--One Couples Story: Beginning To End

This is the true story of one man and one woman's journey as a couple. It starts at the very biginning with just meeting, progresses to really getting to know each other, and then the inevitable bumps in the road, to the intimacy they share, then the maturing of their love until the very last good-bye. It is told through the recovered poetry they wrote to each other because that is how they related to each other. It may seem inconsistant at times, repetitive, and even in the wrong order. That is because this is how relationships happen, inconsistantly, repetitive, and in the wrong order. The people involved are not celebrities or famous in any way. Their story just represents a story that seems to be of another time, yet still keeps popping up again and again as other couples learn how to make the effort it takes to acvhieve true love. Douglas V. Miller is a Disabled Vietnam War Veteran who has been writing since he was eleven years old. He shares his own, and others, life experiences and his, slightly skewed, viewpoint mostly through poetry. He has previously published a series of fourteen booklets for his hospital visitations, along with a three booklet series on the Vietnam War designed for other veterans and the families of veterans. In addition he has published a bibles study explaining The Rapture, Revelations and Redemption. Besides being a prolific reader; Douglas also enjoys spending time building dioramas and plastic models. Douglas is extremely happily married and has four children, one of whom still lives at home, while the other three are enjoying their own married lives.
