Dr. Elisa R. Port is the Chief of Breast Surgery for Mount Sinai Health System in New York. She joined Mount Sinai Hospital and its Icahn School of Medicine in 2010 and is also a Professor of Surgery. Dr. Port performs hundreds of operations each year and is sought out for both her expertise and surgical skills by patients from all over the world. She is an expert in the most advanced surgical techniques for breast cancer treatment while also advising many patients at high risk for breast cancer. Dr. Port also actively conducts both clinical and basic science research, publishing in the Journal of the American College of Surgeons, Annals of Surgery, and Cancer Research, and she is a member of several professional associations and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
