Emma Stonex was born in 1983 and grew up in Northamptonshire. Before becoming a writer, she worked as an editor at a major publishing house. She is the author of two novels: The Sunshine Man, and her debut novel, The Lamplighters, which was a Sunday Times bestseller and has been translated into more than twenty-five languages. She lives in the South-West with her family.
