Portrait

Fanny Rainville is a writer, screenwriter, and actress. A graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada in performance, she has lent her voice to numerous characters in dubbing, advertising, and voice-over work. She has also appeared on television (L'heure bleue), on the web (Georges est mort), in film, and on stage. Fanny has written several episodes of the children's programmes Top Cornichon and Comme des têtes pas de poule for Télé-Québec. She has also written two novels (Les insoumises, Le chant des braises) and a non-fiction book (Maman est partie travailler) for adult audiences. Following L'enfant-orchestre, Le chat qui avait neuf noms is her second picture book.
