Forced Migration

Forced Migration, first published in 1982, examines the impact of the slave trade on Africa. Some claim the huge numbers of slaves trafficked set back Africa's development, and others claim the figures were lower and had a lesser impact. This book examines both claims and asseses slavery's impact on Africa.
