Fouzieyha Towghi is a medical anthropologist and an honorary academic in the School of Archaeology and Anthropology, Australian National University, and the recipient of the 2015 Rudolph Virchow Professional Award from the Society for Medical Anthropology for her 2014 article, "Normalizing Off-Label Experiments and the Pharmaceuticalization of Homebirths in Pakistan."
