A summer full of surprises for Emma and her seven-year-old son
Emma and her son Camille, age seven, disembark on the Isle de Sein off the coast of Brittany for two months' summer vacation. The young mother is despondent: forced into this exile by her husband, she is unable to connect with her highly intelligent and unpredictable son and wonders what she may have done to deserve such a punishment.
