Portrait

Galip Emre Y-ld-r-m served as a teaching and research assistant in political science at the University of Nantes from 2021 to 2024. He earned his PhD in sociology in 2019 from the École Normale Supérieure de Paris-Saclay with a dissertation titled Historical Sociology of the Turkish State: An Incomplete Institutionalization. His research focuses primarily on Turkish politics, including decentralization policies and civil-military relations. He has also explored the regionalization process in France and examined local and national electoral dynamics in the country.
