The Forgotten War
Book Two in the Jaded Anthony Series
A nation silenced. A revolution erased. A journalist who refuses to forget.
Jaded Anthony was never meant to survive the first story he uncovered. A small-town journalist with a stubborn sense of truth and a history he can't outrun, he stumbled onto a revolution no one remembers and it cost him everything.
Now, years later, whispers of that same revolution begin to resurface. The media calls it a myth. The government calls it treason. But Jaded knows it was real. He lived it. And now it's happening again.
As political tensions rise and civil unrest simmers beneath the surface, Jaded is drawn into a labyrinth of digital manipulation, black-budget surveillance programs, and memory warfare. The truth is no longer just hidden. It's being rewritten in real time. History itself has been hijacked by forces powerful enough to bury an entire uprising and they're watching anyone who dares to remember.
When Jaded reconnects with underground contacts from the NSA, CIA, and other rogue operatives who haven't forgotten the truth, he begins to piece together what really happened during the war no one speaks of. But with every revelation, the cost of knowing climbs higher. Friendships fracture. Technology turns. Reality glitches. And somewhere, deep inside the neural networks controlling information, a forgotten name keeps surfacing...Jaded Anthony.
As he races to unearth what was lost, he's forced to confront the one thing more dangerous than lies: the possibility that the revolution failed because it was never supposed to succeed.
Taut, gripping, and terrifyingly relevant, The Forgotten War is a genre-bending fusion of dystopian thriller, political mystery, and philosophical deep dive into control, memory, and resistance. It asks questions no society wants to face:
What if history is just a story told by the victors of a war you were never allowed to know happened?
What if your memories are not your own?
And what if the only way to fix the future is to finally remember the past?
For fans of 1984, Mr. Robot, and V for Vendetta, this is not just a story.
It's a warning.
It's a key.
And if you're reading this, you're already part of the resistance.

Portrait

Gregory Rodgers is a truth-seeker, survivor, and storyteller with a voice carved from fire and forged in reflection. Born in Washington County, Pennsylvania, Gregory spent four years behind bars, years that could've broken him, but instead transformed him. In the solitude of his incarceration, he began to write, not just to pass the time, but to understand who he was, what he believed, and how he'd gone wrong.
That's where the Jaded Anthony series was born.
Through the fictional lens of Jaded Anthony, a journalist chasing forbidden truths. Gregory explored everything he had once ignored: accountability, legacy, power, control, and the war for the soul of humanity. Writing became his lifeline. Each page was a confession, a mirror, a prophecy. Every book in the series (Conversations with Darkness, The Forgotten War, The Silence Agreement, and more) reflects not just hidden history, but Gregory's personal journey from darkness to awareness.
His work draws on real-world conspiracies, suppressed knowledge, ancient civilizations, and elite control systems, but always returns to something deeper: the human spirit's refusal to stay silent.
Gregory writes for the outcasts, the broken, the curious, and the brave. For those who've seen the system from the inside and decided to expose it. For those who understand that sometimes you have to lose everything to find the truth.
He doesn't just write novels. He writes awakenings.
