Hannah Brückner was born in Berlin and studied illustration at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. She completed her studies with the accordion-fold picture book Mein fantastisches Baumhaus (My Fantastic Treehouse), which won the German-French Youth Literature Award. Hannah Brückner lives and works in Hamburg as a picture book artist, author, and illustrator.
Silke Kleemann (Cologne, 1976) is a translator and writer. She translates mostly novels, children’s books, and poetry from Spanish to German. She has received several awards for her literary work, including the Arts Support Award from the Bavatrian Ministry of Culture and the City of Munich Scholarship for Youth Literature. She lives in Munich, Germany.

Ha recibido varios reconocimientos a su trabajo literario, entre otros el Premio de Apoyo para las Artes del Ministerio de Cultura de Baviera y la Beca para Literatura Juvenil de la Ciudad de Múnich. She has obtained, among other literary recognitions, the Cervantes Chico Libero-American Prize, the SM Ibero-American Prize for Children’s and Young People’s Literature, the Ciudad de Orihuela Poetry Pirze, the Hispanic-American Prize for Poetry for Children, and the New Horizons Prize from the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. She lives in Santiago, Chile.
