Gilbert (Gil for short!) is an armadillo who has a good way to handle every hard situation. Armadillo Gil has learned to trust his gut and listen to his feelings. He understands that, like happiness, sadness is also a part of life. Gil is able to break free of engrained beliefs and live a lighter, happier life. He knows that its normal to feel fear or shame, for example, which is why he offers help to his friends when he realizes theyre feeling that way. Armadillo Gil teaches us that all feelings are important and that when we invalidate any of them, we limit our emotions and indeed our life. Use the example of this smart little dillo to learn to see the world in a brighter way after all, its all good for Gil!

Suppa is an illustrator and writer. Her first teacher was her mother, a painter who used to give drawing classes for children. As Suppa grew older, drawing became a favorite hobby of hers, but she never imagined that it would one day become her greatest calling. She believes in the strong influence of her mother on her career. Suppa became an architect and went on to study comics in Paris at the Arts Appliqués Duperré. She lived there for 20 years illustrating children's books, magazines, and advertising material. During this time, she was also a colorist and worked on the comics of Commander Jacques Cousteau.
She has since returned to Brazil, where she has illustrated more than 180 books and won the Jabuti Prize twice, in 2007 and 2017. She has held numerous exhibitions in France, Brazil, and Portugal. She became a writer of both children's books and adult literature, and has published 16 books that she also illustrated, including: O nariz de Anaíz, Mesmo assim, Martín!, O lobo mau se deu bem, and Os óculos mágicos de Charlotte, which was turned into a cartoon series.
Together with Miguel Falabella she runs the YouTube channel Canal da Charlotte, an animated kids' show.
