Socio-economic characteristic of Egypt

It was established that Egypt has a rather favorable geopolitical position due to the possession of the Suez Canal - one of the most strategically important territories in the world and access to the Mediterranean and Red Seas, which makes it important for the country's international trade. The country pays a lot of attention to the development of the tourism sector, because it has a significant cultural heritage and historical traditions that date back thousands of years. It has been proven that the country is a fairly important political and economic player in the region and has great authority in maintaining and improving relations both in its own region and around the world. The state is a member of many international organizations and associations, which indicates its active involvement in international relations. The main economic and social indicators have also been analyzed, on the basis of which a general description has been given.
