Isol is an Argentinian children's book illustrator. She has earned various awards, such as the 2003 Golden Apple at the Biennial of Illustration Bratislava and a silver medal at the Quorum Awards. In 2006 and 2007, she was a finalist for the Hans Christian Andersen Award. Also, in 2011 and 2012, two of her books, La Bella Griselda and Nocturno, were named the best picture books in the children's book awards at the Banco del Libro in Venezuela.
