Portrait

Jason Ray Forbus was born by chance in Rome on December 17, 1984, but he grew up in Gaeta, amid beaches, countryside, and abandoned ruins. As a dual citizen of both Italy and the United States, Jason's blend of cultural identities, coupled with his love for travel, ignited his lifelong journey of living, working, and studying across diverse international landscapes. Jason holds a high school diploma in advertising graphics from the "A. G. Bragaglia" State Art High School in Cassino. He furthered his academic pursuits by earning a bachelor's degree in Languages and Literatures for Multimedia Communication from the University of Cassino. Subsequently, he pursued his passion for global perspectives by completing a master's degree in Globalization from the University of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom. Throughout his professional career, Jason has navigated a diverse range of roles in the fields of publishing and communication. His fascination with literature and the art of storytelling has been a cornerstone of his life's journey. His writing was unveiled in 2002 when he participated in the prestigious "Campiello Giovani" literary competition. There, he emerged as one of the top 25 emerging writers in the nation and clinched the coveted first place in the Lazio region with his captivating short story, "Trovare il cercare". Since that debut, Jason has penned and published a series of captivating works under the banner of Ali Ribelli Edizioni, a publishing label he founded himself.
