Beschreibung

- Small Town Suspense: set in the fictional Rust Belt town of Locksburg, Pennsylvania, three lives collide over the course of a few days in a town where everyone knows each other's secrets, even if they don't have every piece of the puzzle.- Coben Meets Cosby: With the everyman heroics that Harlan Coben fans crave and the adrenaline-fueled tension beloved by readers of S.A. Cosby, What About the Bodies will have readers unable to do anything but read this book in one sitting.- An Edgar Nominee: Jaworowski's debut novel, Small Town Sins (Henry Holt, 2023), received a nomination for Best Debut Novel at the Edgar Awards, given out by the Mystery Writers of America.- Blurbs for Days: A slew of crime fiction's most notable authors praised Ken's debut novel, including: Laura Dave, John Darnielle, Chris Whitaker, Harlan Coben, Jeffery Deaver, and Jason Rekulak, and many of them have already confirmed support for What About the Bodies, including Harlan Coben, Jason Rekulak, and Lisa Scottoline. - Keystone Crime: With Liz Moore's Long Bring River and Alice Sebold's The Lovely Bones, along with HBO's Mare of Easttown, What About the Bodies continues in the tradition of telling propulsive, heartfelt crime suspense set in Pennsylvania. - Sally Hepworth's Unique Comp: In 2020, Sally Hepworth's twisty thriller, The Good Sister introduced readers to Fern, an enigmatic character on the spectrum of Asperger's syndrome, and still to this day, Goodreads reviews for the book are overwhelming related to the readers' connection to Fern. Continuing in this tradition is Ken Jaworowski's What About the Bodies and his character Reed, an autistic young man who undertakes a journey to keep a deathbed promise to his mom. - A NYT Connection: Thanks to Ken's role as an editor at the New York Times, Ken's a highly connected author in the literary and theater space, allowing him to get books into the hands of influential readers and media personalities. - Introducing Atlantic Crime: Ken's book is the debut title of Grove Atlantic's brand new crime fiction imprint, Atlantic Crime. Starting in 2025, the launch will be supported via a year-long trade and consumer-facing promotional campaign, including extensive digital advertising, e-book downprice promotions, special offers, giveaways, influencer outreach, and social media promotion.
