Jess Bircham (Author, Illustrator) Jess Bircham has been illustrating children's books for more than 14 years. Known for her whimsical characters and expressive line work, she brings warmth and imagination to every story she illustrates. Originally from Bath, England, much of Jess's artistic inspiration comes from her childhood in the English countryside. She now lives in Washington State, USA, where she continues to create from her mountain home shared with her husband, two sons, and a variety of animals. When she is not illustrating, Jess enjoys spending time outdoors, especially riding her horses and exploring the nature surrounding her that so often influences her work.
