Each chapter provides an example case study, discussion of the problem, identification of several solutions, and sample script for the provider to address the issue with their client. This book is based on a highly successful seminar provided over the past decade within a group practice. It was developed from author Joe Hromco's experience as a psychologist leader and administrator who was the go-to for hundreds of clinicians.

Joe Hromco, PhD, is a licensed psychologist, adjunct professor, and previous co-owner of a practice of 350 clinicians and National Clinical Director for LifeStance. He has provided countless trainings on topics such as suicide prevention, pain management, motivational interviewing, the concept of "medical necessity" in psychotherapy, efficient documentation, and health psychology. He has lead outcomes projects for over a decade documenting "highly efficient" care in psychotherapy.
