José Ignacio Valenzuela nació en 1972 en Santiago, Chile. Es un destacado escritor y guionista de cine y televisión en Chile, México y Estados Unidos. Ha publicado obras como Hacia el fin del mundo, El filo de tu piel, La mujer infinita, Con la noche encima, -De qué color es tu sombra?, Mi abuela la loca y la trilogía Malamor.
