Fangs

'Dystopian was once one of my favourite genres and this series has brought back my love for it'
----- 'I never expected this series to become one of my favourite of all time but here we are. MASTERPIECE' ----- 'If Mad Max and The 100 had a post-apocalyptic baby, this book would be it!' ----- Ember's story continues in Fangs, book two in K. L. Speer's dark and addictive dystopian romantasy series - perfect for fans of Daggermouth, Silver Elite and The Poison Daughter - as seen on BookTok! "Run, lil rabbit, before Wolf tears you apart." Twelve years ago, Ember Cutler obeyed her father and ran away from a devastating crime scene, but the girl who disappeared into the desert was not the same girl who came out. Now, she's known only by the name 'Bones'. When her older brother appears in her clinic at the Vault and abducts her at gunpoint, Bones knows her time has finally run out, and the past she tried to escape has caught up to her. Taken by Wolf and his team of deadly bounty hunters, Bones finds her past and present identities colliding. With the help of her crew and its leader, Mac, Bones struggles to untangle who she is now from her trauma and grief. But the gods have taken notice of her - and her potential - and enemies new and old are circling. When her magic begins to evolve in mysterious ways, Bones is forced to decide who she wants to be in the face of the terrifying forces that threaten to alter the entire world. * 'This is one of the most beautifully dark, emotionally consuming stories I've read in a long time . . . I will absolutely not be shutting up about it' ----- 'A gritty, post-apocalyptic nightmare where trust is a luxury, gangs rule the ruins, alliances shift like sand . . . I'm counting down the days for book three' ----- 'This is my new personality . . . desperate for book three immediately, if not sooner' ----- 'One of THE BEST found families I've ever read for real . . . I can't stop theorizing and need book three stat'

Kelsey Speer is an author and artist who lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her husband and two children, but she grew up in the remote mountains of Montana where the story of Bones takes place. With a background in graphic design, she is always creating something. Thanks to that creative spirit, she has explored numerous artistic mediums from embroidery, drawing, her kids' Halloween costumes, painting, digital art, fancy cakes, and changing the color of her hair. But she always comes back to writing. Kelsey started writing her first novel when she was twelve years old. Tragically the pink floppy disc containing it was lost. Since then, she has started writing many different books, and after finally getting officially diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, she actually finished one.
