A Day We Met In Lynbrook

In the summer of 2004, in the quiet suburban town of Lynbrook, New York, Corey Montgomery is grappling with shyness and the weight of his brother Mike's troubled past. One day, he meets Samantha Foxe, a fiercely loyal, sharp-witted Southern girl who is obsessed with the Tennessee Volunteers. However, like Corey, there is so much more to Samantha than meets the eye. Together, they navigate the snares and turns of failed romances and heartbreak.
A Day We Met In Lynbrook is a coming-of-age story about love's power to heal, the strength of enduring friendships, and the belief that even in our darkest moments, hope and grace can light the way. As Corey's team fights it's way out of its losing ways under the leadership of their young and inspiring Coach Kenny, Corey overcome past mistakes, find forgiveness, and the beauty of finding true love.

K. Scott Fuchs is a novelist, published poet, actor, and performer. His debut novel Time and Temperance was released in 2023 along with Six Months in Wigan, a collection of poetry.
