Kieren was born in Shutesbury, Massachusetts. He is a University of Victoria alumnus and is currently working for SD61, the School District of Greater Victoria. He is a lover of life, a friend to many, an avid soccer player, and, above all, a kind person. Kieren has always loved literature, specifically fantastical worlds that push against the borders of, and sometimes transcend, possibility. He considers this novel his greatest material accomplishment to date.
