Die Entwicklung innovativer Gedanken und origineller ästhetischer Formen beruht auf einem Ineinandergreifen von produktivem Imaginieren, produktivem Selbstdenken und orientierendem Entwerfen. Mit Kant ist theoretische Produktivität als bestimmbare wie auch als zukunftsoffene intellektuelle Aktivität begreifbar. Beide Fälle setzen theoretische Freiheit notwendig voraus.

The development of innovative thought and original aesthetic forms is based on an intertwining of productive imagining, productive self-thinking and orienting design. With Kant, theoretical productivity can be understood as both determinable and open-ended intellectual activity. Both cases necessarily presuppose theoretical freedom.
