Un Temps Fou

What starts it is the memory of the short, yet endless first night Vincent and Maud spend together. They have just met yet they dream of running away together for good. In the morning however, Vincent takes off.
They meet again several years later. It is Vincent who calls Maud. She is now married, the mother of a little girl. Yet she appears to be still waiting for him, as if he had just woken her up, and with her, her desire and her love for him.
They meet again, on the pretext of a job. He is a filmmaker, she is a novelist, this gives him a reason to approach her...
Time elapses again: five, eight, maybe ten years before there can be another chance, another night that may or may not be the last one again.
Laurence Tardieu was born in Marseilles in 1972. She has published four novels: Comme un père (Arléa, 2002), Le Jugement de Léa (Arléa, 2004, awarded the ' prix du roman des libraires Leclerc '), Puisque rien ne dure (Stock, 2006, awarded the Alain-Fournier prize and the prize ' Prince Maurice du roman d'amour ', translated in five languages) and Rêve d'amour in 2008.

Laurence Tardieu est nee en 1972 a Marseille.
