In Brown Dog you'll meet Chocolate Chip, a brown labrador retriever-mix whose life and passing motivated his person to make a difference in the lives of others. At age four, Chip was surrendered by a family who couldn't pay for a tumor removal. After the rescue group had the tumor removed, he was adopted by a single woman who doted on him.
When Carol adopted Chip, she lamented to the rescue group, "It's a shame there isn't an organization who could have helped his family pay for the care he needed so they could keep him."
