Beschreibung

Before Simon Templar became a legend, he came to Baycombe hunting a criminal known only as the Tiger. A fortune in stolen gold has brought Simon Templar to a quiet village on the North Devon coast. Somewhere behind its respectable doors hides the Tiger, a ruthless criminal mastermind surrounded by a gang of dangerous accomplices. With his loyal servant Orace beside him, Simon must uncover the Tiger's identity before the stolen bullion disappears-and before the Tiger decides to eliminate him. The investigation brings Simon into an uneasy alliance with a disguised detective and introduces him to the courageous Patricia Holm, whose appetite for danger may rival his own. Filled with secret identities, ambushes, narrow escapes, romance, and reckless heroism, The Saint Meets the Tiger is the first adventure of Leslie Charteris's celebrated modern-day Robin Hood.
