Liwen Hou is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the Department of Social Work, School of Social and Public Administration, East China University of Science and Technology. He Engages in research and teaching in primary-level social governance, social work theories, social work service institutions, etc.These years, he has published numerous academic papers in both Chinese and English in journals such as Sociological Studies, Academic Monthly, and Research on Social Work Practice, some of which have been reprinted by Chinese Social Science Digest, Sociology, Journal of Social Work, and Sociology Digest. Experienced in academic research, he has presided over more than 20 research projects, including national-level projects, ministerial-level projects, provincial-level projects, and key government-commissioned projects. Additionally, he has published several books.
