Max's Ice Age Adventure

Max the dog and his human friend Tori have boarded a time machine on the way to their greatest adventure yet -- back to the Ice Age! There, they encounter prehistoric mammals and are even chased by a saber-toothed tiger. Logan Weinman's simple story and artwork are accompanied throughout the book by question-and-answer balloons written by series creator Jeffrey Bennett. The balloons answer common questions about time travel, ice ages, global warming, prehistoric animals, and more. The engaging story appeals to even very young children, while older children and parents appreciate the book's stimulating science content.

Logan Weinman is a third grade student at Summit Cove Elementary School in Colorado. He won a contest in which children wrote their own stories based on Jeffrey Bennett's Science Adventures with Max the Dog series. Jeffrey Bennett is an astronomer and the author of Max Goes to Mars and Max Goes to the Moon. He lives in Boulder, Colorado.
