Soulpushers

Zoe is a Soulpusher, meaning that she has the ability to sense when someone is at the edge of death and push their soul up to the beyond. What that beyond is, she doesn't know. Oh, and she also doesn't have a body. Not one that she can inhabit. She is a prisoner inside another 16 year-old, David. Not his fault, and she doesn't begrudge him. He doesn't blame her either, for making him different from all of the other kids. He probably would have been different anyway. All he thinks about is music. Well...that and his best friend's sister, Renna.

Lola Lariscy was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. She rebelled against her parents by moving to another state for college. However, it might not have been much of a rebellion because her parents had also both moved to different states for college. Still, she felt like she must explore the world, learn new ideas and gather experiences that would fuel her life for decades to come.
Instead, she went to Birmingham, Alabama. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English.
She lives in Jacksonville, Florida with her boyfriend Clint and a few cats. She writes, reads, drinks beer, watches TV and movies.
