'Lynda La Plante practically invented the thriller. Above Suspicion blew me away - it grabs you and doesn't let go until the last page' KARIN SLAUGHTER
The first book in the riveting DI Anna Travis series from the Sunday Times bestselling creator of Jane Tennison.

Detective Anna Travis has just been assigned to her first murder case - a series of killings of young women that has shocked even the most hardened of her colleagues. The deaths first began eight years ago, and now the body count is up to six, with no concrete leads.

Then the seventh body is found. The method of killing is identical, but the victim profile has changed dramatically. Determined to prove herself, Anna's resolve pays off when she finally uncovers a vital piece of information which links one man to all of the murders - a beloved actor on the brink of international stardom.
But with the prospect of a media frenzy in the wings, his isn't the only career on the line. If he were to be arrested and found innocent, then Anna's hard-won reputation would be destroyed once and for all...
