Mariana Osorio Gumá (La Habana, 1967) es psicoanalista y escritora. Vivió en Chile hasta 1973 y tras el golpe militar se exilió en México, país del que es ciudadana por elección. Ha publicado ensayos y cuentos en revistas nacionales e internacionales y es coautora de libros sobre infancia y subjetividad. Es autora de la novela infantil Las Esencias de Sabina, de la novela El Paraíso de las Moscas y del libro de divulgación Hablemos de violencia: un monstruo de mil cabezas. Mariana Osorio Gumá (Havana, 1967) is a psychoanalyst and writer. She lived in Chile until 1973 and later went into exile in Mexico, where she became a citizen by choice. She has published essays and short stories in national and international journals and co-authored books on childhood and subjectivity. She is the author of the children's novel Las Esencias de Sabina, the novel El Paraíso de las Moscas, and the nonfiction work Hablemos de violencia: un monstruo de mil cabezas.
