After a forty-year career as a Cleveland-based orchestral conductor and music educator, Martin Kessler has pivoted to writing as his primary creative pursuit. In 2022, he published his memoir, The Podium Papers with Outskirts Press, and two of his poems have received awards and publication through WOMR's Outermost Poetry Contest.
