Beschreibung

Rooster is a lovable, energetic, and curious puppy who wants to help children understand and learn about life. In Rooster Trouve sa Maison, Rooster explores new sights around home with his mother and siblings only to be frightened by a loud noise and tood by his mother to "Run!" When Rooster stops running, he discovers he is lost and must fend for himself as he searches for a place to call home. On his journey, Rooster is bullied by turkeys, comforted and fed by a cat, chased by a broom, and terrorized by spooky nighttime sounds. In the end he is reduced by a police officer and finds happiness living in a log home.
With 38 pages, including 13 full color, full page illustrations, Rooster Trouve sa Maison is ideal as an early reader, with its simple sentence structures and short paragraphs. Young children just learning to read can use the illustrations to help learn the words while older children can practice and grow comfortable with their reading skills. In addition, Rooster Trouve sa Maison includes Talking Points for Parents in which several key story concepts are outlined for educational discussions with children. Rooster Trouve sa Maison is the French version of Rooster Finds Home (2018).
Rooster is also the star character in other stories that he affectionately calls Rooster's Tales. Join Rooster as he takes an adventurous journey searching for Home!
