Born and raised in Pennsylvania, I went to college at the University of Utah to pursue a career in game design and development. Since I was a kid I have loved to imagine strange worlds and creatures, and I originally wanted to use games to help bring my imaginings to life.
After I graduated I realized that the games industry was not for me, but during my day job I rediscovered my knack for writing, and so began to finally put the tale I had rattling around in my head for years to paper.
I love nature, animals, and all of the sciences – all big inspirations in my writing. I have two adorable kitties: Chaney and her daughter Bubbles, along with a few other slimy friends. Of course I still love games, and enjoy painting miniatures when I'm not writing.
